AACGain normalizes the volume of digital music files using the Replay Gain algorithm. It works by modifying the global_gain fields in the mp4 samples. Free-form metadata tags are added to the file to save undo information, making the normalization process reversable. AACGain supports mp4/m4a files. Raw AAC files/HE-AAC/SBR are not supported. AACGain uses the same command-line user interface as mp3gain, and is compatible with the mp3gain Visual Basic GUI. It also integrates with iTunes using my iGain GUI.

DVD95 is a GNOME application to convert DVD9 to DVD5 (4.7 GB). The user interface is aimed at being simple and elegant to use. DVD95 is free and open-source software licensed under the terms of the GNU GPL v2. The shrinking factor may be computed for best results, or an adaptive compression ratio method may be used. DVDs can be converted to a file tree or ISO file. Results can be played back through xine, VLC, mplayer, etc. Burning can be used with the support of third party software (K3B). DVD95 needs no additionnals packages, as an onboard version of vamps and dvdauthor are used, to be as fast as possible.
Dirac is a general-purpose video codec aimed at resolutions from QCIF (176x144) to HDTV (1920x1080) progressive or interlaced. It uses wavelets, motion compensation and arithmetic coding and aims to be competitive with other state of the art codecs.

Google VP8 Video Codec for Windows (VFW). Since the purchase of On2 by Google, there has been a lot of discussion on the latest VP8 (also called WebM) codec created by On2 which gives similar compression rations and quality than the H.264 video codec. Even though the Video for Windows driver framework is now several years old, several modern video editing tools still use extensively, such as Virtualdub. I wanted to be able to compress videos using standard AVI containers, therefore I decided to wrap the VP8 library around a Video For Windows driver. Dynamic Audio Normalizer is a library and a command-line tool for audio normalization. It applies a certain amount of gain to the input audio in order to bring its peak magnitude to a target level (e.g. 0 dBFS). However, in contrast to more "simple" normalization algorithms, the Dynamic Audio Normalizer dynamically adjusts the gain factor to the input audio. This allows for applying extra gain to the "quiet" parts of the audio while avoiding distortions or clipping the "loud" parts. libdvdcss is a simple library designed for accessing DVDs like a block device without having to bother about the decryption. This repository hosts the compiled libdvdcss-2.dll for Windows. HBBatchBeast is a free GUI application for HandBrake and FFmpeg/FFprobe on Windows, macOS and Linux with an emphasis on multi Handbrake instance batch conversion (including recursive folder scans and folder watching). The destination folder structure is kept the same as the source folder structure. Media in subfolders is also converted. Multiple folders can be monitored and different conversion presets can be specified for each folder. There is also a health check feature which can scan for corrupt video files using Handbrakes's '--scan' feature, although this is not always accurate.
