Hate to have to lower my rating on this initially promising product.

Sometime in the last few versions, it seems the H264 encoding has changed. I used to get 5G iPod compliant files out of this app and now I do not. Seems the encoded files are Baseline 2.1 whereas Handbrake produces Baseline 3.0 from its "Legacy 5G iPod" settings. Handbrake encoded files drop right into my iPod and VM encoded files no longer will. *sigh*

I've posted these comments at the SourceForge support page for this product.

Excellent quality. Choices of output formats rather limited but this is a work in progress (and it's free) so how can I complain?

Partially works with Perian. Converts avi's well but, even though the "Show Video" preview displays subtitles, the encoded video doesn't have them. I posted this at the VideoMonkey forum on Sourceforge.

Lots of potential here.
