Tried this as suggested by others as a means of downloading videos.
It seems to basically work, but works best for those on fast internet connections.
People on slow (dialup) connections (such as myself) will (probably) find that livestreamer times out and will not download most videos, probably because of slow data transfer rate due to the slow internet connection. It might download very low resolution videos, but not the high(er) resolution videos via the slow internet connections.
As this is a CLI run program, some may find it difficult to use. And it is easy to make typing errors when using it, so extra care is needed when typing in commands.
