User friendly freeware with a straightforward gui interface. I'm pleased that I was able to find software that creates .bin & .cue files (containing the proper files & folder structure for a VCD) that I can save to my PC. This allows me to effect root/main directory protection PRIOR to burning a VCD disc. Well done! Thank you!

No multisession for DVD's
No UDF version selection
No file explorer panel
Not beginner friendly
As useless to me as BurnAware Free, DeepBurner, ImgBurn, and most payware
Valuable tools would be CDBurnerXP, InfraRecorder portable, BurnAtOnce, Burrrn, Nero

Awesome tool:
- supports all kinds of targets (no support for burning Blu-Ray discs...so what?)
- fool-proof interface
- quite a number of options (for those who don't care about defaults)
- reliable email support (fast and friendly)
- free
Downside:
- verification of burnt data is not available for all targets (e.g. audio discs)
Due to the downside I rated functionality 9 which shouldn't be too much of a matter. Yet, I haven't had any discs that wouldn't work after burning with this fine software.

First of all, I must say that even though there are many different functions in this program, I only really use the DVD-Video burning aspect of it. This, I can vouch for. One thing that I absolutely wanted was on-the-fly burning of the DVD. This limited my choices down to basically Nero Burning ROM 6.6.1.4 and this tool, cdrtfe. cdrtfe won hands down with its no frills DVD burning, immediate start of the process, detailed logs throughout the burning process, and bit-for-bit verification that actually gives some information (such as the file it's currently on and the percentage it has compared). Also, the on-the-fly actually worked. If I'm not mistaken Nero still created an image even though I had on-the-fly selected. Anyway, it completes my DVD backup suite and best of all, it's free.

tested it with InfraREcorder.
first of all, the Zip File wouldn't work.
it's better to download the setup from the author site.
it's have a nice user interface ,where you can locate your
preferred burn section.
you can drag and drop any file that belong to your burn section selected
from any explorer window.
(tested a data disc, audio disc-works very slowly , and a dvd image file)
