Dec 25, 2013 Version: 0.1+
OS: Linux Ease of use: 1/10
Functionality: 1/10
Value for money: 1/10
Overall: 1/10
Ease of use: It's very easy to use. Simply install, load videofile/script with VirtualDub and off you go.
Functionality: Basically the same as Divx or Xvid; a few less options.
Value for money: Talking about the Personal Edition, it's free!
Overall score: Math for beginners -> (9 + 9 + 10) : 3 = 9,333 which makes it a clean 9.

if you can set up this codec encodec corectly, the video result is better than DivX/Xvid with the same bitrate and orlower. I use it to record TV Signal
+ Better Result than DivX/Xvid with the same bitrate and or lower
+ Lower CPU power than DivX
+ VP7.090 is free for personal use
- Divx compatible DVD player can not read VP7 codec
