40$ dollars for this you must have money to burn. Try Handbrake its free and much better.

I have problem with TVC. Some system (normally Intel Mobile Core Dual/Duo Core/Core 2 Duo) using TVC cannot add sub hard-coded to movie file. There is no error report but output file does not contain hard sub.

Previously used this for converting some rare stuff to AVI. Will say MKV support is lacking (no subs issue), and they removed SWF totally, and tries to get you to buy MagicSWF. No longer really a TOTAL converter.

Quite possibly, the best video converter out there - got a lot of power under the hood. Might not be the best for the novices, but if you know what you are doing.
Not only can it convert almost any video file, it can also convert audio, game and animated GIF files. You can rip DVDs directly from your drive, convert audio and PC game files, combine multiple videos into one large file and its compatible with and supplies output options for several popular portable media players.

Great video converter. I haven't found anything that it hasn't been able to convert successfully. My only problem with this converter is that it's bundled with total video player and that player initially associates itself with almost all video file extensions. If there was an option to uninstall (or not to install to begin with) total video player, this program would get a 10 from me. You can always just deselect file associations in TVP and then delete tvp.exe from the installed folder.

Easy convert "not normal" FLV flash video files to Xvid AVI,
that other software like SUPER failed.
SUPER can handled only with "normal" FLV files.
