hi will this software upscale a video file that is very blocky i have a old movie it is a avi file but it is very bad quality it has loads of blocks and fuzzy so could i turn the video file perfect quality also it seems to take ages to upscale a video file to 1080p it was saying to me something like 7 hours to convert it when i was using it a few weeks ago as a trial. i know that nero software has brought one out called nero upscaler and that takes ages to convert a video file something like 10 hours to upscale a video file.

I've updated to the latest version today and will continue to support Topaz. I hope the SDR to HDR feature will be available soon.
Currently, UniFab HDR Upconverter AI already supports SDR to HDR conversion and is cheaper.

Expensive! You can do all this for free in Avisynth, if you know what you're doing and willing to learn. This software is well made and much praised by its fanboys. There's free upscalers out there equally as good, but upscaling is a total waste of time imho.
