Especially handy if all you want to do is add the subtitle without re-encoding. The app just adds a subtitle track and it simply displays when you play the video. Nicely done.

For people that want a quick and easy way to encode subtitles into a movie on a Mac for various devices,
this is a product that is very useful. It is constantly updated, and supports most major sub formats, but not all
formats.
Submerge is an excellent value, and used with Turbo h.264 makes encoding very easy.
Website support is limited.

I have had this sofware, it is easy to use but has some problems,
some times it just shuts off itself
Doesn't read all kinds of subtitles
and the support is not good at all, every time you email you are lucky if you get an answer within 4 days if at all
It still needs some work to be done on it and it seems it is a one man show so don't expect customer support !!!!
