This is my favorite video add-on :) I've been using it for years to watch videos at 120 Hz (FPS) on the projector. Super smooooooth like butter B-) It does work better on stronger hardware, but I have Intel Q6600, Radeon R7 360 and it works great at 720p.

I tried several software to increase the frame rate of my videos, this one is by far the best !!!
It is also possible to play videos with a real time conversion but it requires a powerful machine and a good GPU.
Note that you need to use the "GPU" option for interpolation because it improves the quality of the image (even if you have a powerful CPU)... The SVPFlow libraries give the best result of what I was able to test. This software requires to spend a little time in the user manual otherwise you may be disappointed (like the two previous comments that I could read).

One year later, it doesn't work. Seriously, you have to put an end to this. If it worked, you would be rich and famous by now.
