This is a great encoder that is efficiently laid out and gives you everything you need for a great experience. It does not need the extras that some complain are lacking because unless you are really lazy everything you need is at your hands.
If you want bells and whistles and someone to hold your hand this might not be for you. But it does have all the tools you need.
Running Windows 10 and it is stable. More stable than some expensive products.
Support this guy for doing a very nice job.

This is one of the best software encoders i have ever used from one format to the other.If you have any problems with this software you need to contact the owner and he will reply fast i contacted him late one night and by the next morning i had a reply back by the way it was something i couldn't figure out on my own and he told me to do it in a few seconds.This is my "NOW" go to software when it comes to encoding and other projects i have.Everyone must try it because you have nothing to loose you will be "HAPPY" you did i give this a "10" out of "10".The only gripe i really had with this software is its not really a gripe is i wish it came out sooner and please donate to this software if you can because he is always making improvements to it to make it better.God Bless and have a Good Day!

This All in one video program has great potential, and is one of the most creative programs have come across online, for ones like me, that like to do the quick online video downloading, & quick video Audio filter clean up, trim & crop, then save to MP4 HD Output.
I know it is ongoing developement, but after several more months and version updates, 12.9 Version, tried a few times contacting developer, but emails are always returned, due to their server issues.
***Still cannot get the shutterencoder Lossless Video trimmer to work at all on any youtube, Dailymotion, or others etc online videos, output file is no where to be found, opens up a blank folder, without any lossless trims done.
Output video error:
After previewing & selecting my input and output cuts, . Then I keep
> trying to save trimmed & cropped video in 1 full ( TRIED SAVING IN
> CODECS H.264 & .264) MP4 HD output file.
MY PROCESS:
***I SELECT OPTION (WEB VIDEO)
***THEN- SELECT DOWNLOADED VIDEO-OPTION TO (CUT WITHOUT RE-ENCODING) TO MP4 OUTPUT STILL.
***I Select input and output, and preview, but no other option even avail to proceed, if close box, then nothing
Is trimmed in file loaded. Or will say: Please choose input /output again, which have already done a few times.
Why shutter encoder option to simply (CUT WITHOUT RE-ENCODING) a simple video , does not work at all?
I really wanted to give Shutter encoder all great online reviews, again a program with great potential, but
Just too unstable never works correctly for me.
Also Hard to edit & scroll thru videos in Tiny window & Preview screen, no option could find to maximize.
Really was hoping with this program, would be able to quickly select multi spots of videos or audio, to quickly remove & cut Undesired parts, then quickly Crop, & enhance video & audio quickly , then simply output to MP4.
Again, great concept, just still ongoing kinks & bugs, hope they can finally work out. (Rated 2.9 out of 5 stars). For now.

I downloaded the shutter encoder to simply convert a video into high @ 10 4.1 to a smaller size, and it surprised me!
The interface is pretty simple, but there you can find almost all the settings for a simple conversion, without changing the video resolution, even using 2 pass mode. The only option I haven't found so far is the tune option for h.264 conversions, but if you are looking for a simple program that is very straightforward about its purpose, or for example, a simple conversion like it was in In my case, the Shutter encoder is a more than excellent choice!

Shutter Encoder takes a step closer to perfection since integrating mpeg1 exports. The speed of the software is only matched by its reliability and ease of use. What you could not do with other encoding software, you can still do better, easily and quickly with Shutter Encoder, in addition to perfectly master all types of classics encoding.
You can even change the language of the software now !!!! And much more ...
It only misses the possibility encapsulation in Quicktime Reference as well as a preview of fast timeline preview to touch the "stars of the encoding".

This is a great encoder that is very intuitive and easy to use.
It has some amazing features such as the ability to choose from 61 LUT's to add to your footage as well as add your own, image stabilization, change the luminance output to 16-235, in and out cutting without re-encoding, frame rate altering, slow motion frame interpolation and many more.
For in/out cutting, make sure you have the latest VLC player 64bit.
My favourite feature is the many codecs you can encode to including DNxHD, DNxHR and Prores. Very handy for creating proxy files for editing.
All in all, a great package packed with features and all for FREE.

Very nice tool.
I have not tried all the functions of the program.
Cut without compression, End to End, Output codec h264: O.K.
But the "cut" option not work for me. The program is blocked and I have to remove it with the task manager.
I will continue testing and reporting.
