Versions 7.x.X of ImageGrab are a major update of versions 6.0.0, where for the first time in ImageGrab you may choose the audio language and display subtitles for some videos containing such streams embedded.

It can open the main types of video file for playing and navigate very precisely and comfortably in the file to reach the desired image.
It can extract the current image from the video with a single click or pressing a key on the keyboard.
The extracted images can be numbered or marked with the timestamp and saved in the folder of your choice.
An intervalometer allows to extract periodically, very simply and automatically, an image
A scripting language makes it possible to program all ImageGrab operations and reproduce them at will
It can embed different data in real time in the video, for example the timestamp or, for DV videos, datecode or timecode, and get it on the extracted image.

In comparison with versions 4.x.x, this version presents inter alia the following improvements:
* the size of the window of ImageGrab is adjustable, and may even be maximized to cover the whole screen.
* much more video containers can be read by Imagegrab, specially the videos high definition AVCHD (provided Haali Media Splitter and ffdshow are installed)
* a fully and easily personnalizable inlay of text may be added to the video
* display of the video, and grabbed images, respect the aspect ratio of the video, for instance 4x3 or 16x9.
* size of the video image, codec and some data are provide for each video or audio stream in the file.
* a table of all keyboard shortcuts and switches can be displayed with F11
* the load factor of CPU and the free space in the hard disk may be displayed during operation
* you may install or uninstall filters (for example a decoder) with drag/drop of an *.ax file
* when thhe aspect ratio of the video is changed, the saved video changes accordingly whenever it's possible
* intervalometer has two modes: a fast mode that browses to the images to be extracted, and a precise mode that plays the whole video and grabs the desired images. This second mode is adapted when extracting frames separated with short intervals, even for extracting all frames one by one.

* the /P command to set a position in a script or command-line is improved: the program waits now until the position is reached. There should no more be the issue of previous images being grabbed instead of the required position.
* the script and command-line commands are better working in some cases, even if there are erroneous commands. They will simply be ignored.

* one can go the the scn or srt file by clicking on the sign
* if the destination folder is changed in the Options panel, then the name on the bottom panel is updated
