The version 1.1.22.0 uses too much CPU even when no sound is playing, that not occurs on earlier versions.

Excellent it is free and all, but I'm rating it regarding XP with which it is incompatible. You can download older crippled versions which are merely a trials to get it to work, but defeats the object. I use Win10 too and there's really no need for this type of software in it at all as I have Dolby Atmos chip onboard which is vastly superior!

I used the older dfx version in XP, not sure if this now free version would work in XP. Works fine in Win7. Most folks gravitate towards the use of Android in tablets, mobiles etc. Maybe a factor why it is now freeware as people move away desktop computer use.
