Free Zune Video Converter is an absolutely free application which converts the most popular video files (AVI, MPEG, MP4, FLV, MOV and other) to Microsoft Zune compatible video format (WMV, MP4). You can also extract audio tracks from video files to MP3, WMA and M4A (AAC) format. The application allows you to convert full movie or selected range only. FZVC has the potential to be a useful tool, but it still lacks some functionality...
Pro:
- clean GUI
- easy to set up
Con:
- missing preview
- conversion issues due to missing file(s)*
I think a preview mode is inexpendable, it makes cropping and resizing much easier. Regarding the Con-*, I get a missing file error for a libmp3*.dll for any preset I use. This file is not in the package, so conversion fails everytime I try it.
