This program deserves a much better score than 6.8.
There are a few bugs, which are easy to overcome, but overall the program is quite stable. It has a medium learning curve, but if you spend a little time, the results are quite good. Best to use the wizard at first.
I have authored most of my videos with this tool and they play great on my (two)Philips vdp5982 stand alone player.

Installed as instructed. Used Wizard, works very fast on my Canon TX1 video clips
that were converted to Divx with Divx Convert in batch mode. Created half dozen movies with Title and Menu for test, average time for each project was less than 2 minutes. This fast processing is remarkable, program was able to use my batch created
Divx files in final single Divx that ran fine on PC as well as my Divx Ultra certified Philips player.

it seems that the created divx file created in DivXMediaBuilder is not detected by external divx player. the thing is that if this program should create menu's it would be more than great if they could appear when playing the divx dvd in my external dvd player.

Will possibly be a good program when it reaches a final version, but right now it has too many bugs and niggling shortages in it's capabilities. I haven't actually been able to complete a single divx media file yet. I tried seven attempts with several divx files I have, to create a multiple media file with a menu, but each time it failed with a different error! The GUI is overly complex for the average user and is somewhat erratically laid out, making access to the different functions too laborious.
It needs to be more point and click for the average user. Having said that, it's about the only program of it's type available right now (at least that I know of!) so I hope the author perseveres and it comes good. Well done mate!
