This software is amazing, had a PAL DVD with incorrect timestamps and this software converted it to mpg and fixed it.
Many thanks to the dev.

A wonderful, couldn't-be-easier little program that performs its very basic function as well (and as quickly) as one could ask for. Some may say that DVD format is passe', and that this util ceased development years ago, but I still find good and regular use for it. Just one example: say you want to send someone a video clip of something to someone. First, as the simplest solution, I'd check on Youtube to see if it already exists there, in which case you could just send the intended recipient a link, avoid having to do anything more and be done with it. It's not on YT, or anywhere else convenient ? O.K., I've recorded it with my DVD recorder, but this is now in "a mess" of VOB, IFO, and BUP files. The recipient may not be familiar with handling DVD format, if it's sent that way *digitally.* (Or it could be files you've acquired elsewhere.) I could turn it into a single ISO file, or a self-extracting Zip archive . . . but that's still too tech-y for some. (Don't laugh: WE may understand these things, but this does occur in the real world.) A single MPG file is as simple as it gets for video, though. Anyone should be able to play it directly, on any OS, with ANY video player. Just convert the relevant VOB file with this. Then your only problem is sending a larger size file than some email systems will accept, but there are free cloud solutions and free third-party xfer services to cover that part.

First impression: excellent
Content was a VRO from a Pana DMR-EZ28. The VRO was edited on the recorder, originally 1:02:00 standard play. After the edits the content was ~0:41:02 so it was fragmented. The content worked fine in splayer and gom.
Other conversion, extraction routines were tedious, time consuming and always left compression artifacts. This product quickly and easily made a good looking mpg.
Next task is to author the mpg. But for now this is great.
