I used to use this all the time when I ran Windows. Now that I've moved to Mac OS X, I have yet to find a replacement. I now have to reencode the file which takes much longer, and degrades the video. Someone please port this!

Very simple program that allows you to convert between formats without changing framerate.
Very helpful to avoid synchronization problems with audio and subtitles, reduces the work to almost nothing.

For laspis59 who wants DGPulldown to do 29.97->25-

It'll never happen. 29.97fps is almost always interlaced, and DGPulldown and Pulldown.exe are for progressive streams. Also, you can't run pulldown when the source framerate is greater than the destination framerate. If the source was originally progressive film, then IVTC first before going 23.976-?25. If the source is 29.97fps interlacd, then you'll have to find other ways to do the conversion, all of them bad.

Patched elementary (*m2v) stream plays back choppy on PC but was perfect when played from the DVD i created.

Very clever little app. Works great for applying 3:2 pulldown of progressive NTSC source (23.976 -> 29.976) or PAL-to-NTSC conversion. Simple, effective, does what it says. No need to be bloated. A must for anyone!

Worked perfectly to convert my PAL source to NTSC without needed to alter the audio. :)
