Using Chris TV on a untested Hauppauge HVR 1600 card. Not all functions are working. Can't seem to get the Mpeg portion to work, even with all the 3rd party software installed. I seem to be having some video and audio sync problems. Will continue to tweak the setting to see if that will resolve the issue. I am still using the trial version and if I get the sync problem fixed I will spend the money for the pro version. Will keep my fingers crossed in hopes to fix the problem. It is very easy to set-up and run the program.

I have a Hauppauge PVR 150 and I use ChrisTV with it, because Hauppauge software didn't work as I wanted.
ChrisTV gives better image quality and a lot of recording settings that a pro user (like me) can tweak :)
Also it has an advanced scheduler which wakes your PC from hibernating/standby to begin recording and after it does the job you can set it to hibernate/standby/close PC.
So my advice is : if you want an easy to use software but with many settings that you can tweak, than ChrisTV is your option.
