AudioMuxer can generate a DVD, MPG or MKV files from a selection of MP3, Flac, (multi-channel) Wav, LPCM, DTSWav, DTS, DTS Master Audio, DTS Hi-Res, AC3 audio tracks. MKV files can be exported to AVCHD or Blu-ray, and an ISO file can be created from the DVD, AVCHD or Blu-ray structure. A toolbox is available to convert MP3, Flac, (multi-channel) Wav, Wave64, WavPack, LPCM, DTSWav, DTS, DTS Master Audio, DTS Hi-Res, AC3, TrueHD, MLP audio files to AC3, DTS, LPCM/Mono-wav or Flac files. There is also the possibility to read a playlist file from a non-encrypted Blu-ray or DVD-Video and to extract the (HD) audio from it.

All features
Audio tracks can be split with a CUE sheet and images can be selected that will be shown during playback. These images can be encoded in a NTSC/PAL or HD 720p/1080p video format.
An option to join Wav/Flac files is available.
An option to merge mono-channel wav/flac files to multi-channel wav or flac.
And an option to convert AC3/DTS files to SPDIF Wav/Flac (useful for streaming audio from PC over SPDIF connection and for tagging AC3/DTS files).

I love AudioMuxer. It does almost everything I need except no DSD conversion support. I have found it great for making audio tracks with a still image for my old YouTube channel and for creating multichannel flac files from MKV, DVD and Bluray's (all decrypted with other software I might add).

I used audiomuxer sometimes to make music videos, especially for a friend's birthday, but although the program's proposal is great, sometimes it turns out to be too complex for simple tasks. In addition, I found it very difficult to encode the videos, because sometimes it would come out without the image I chose, and sometimes it would not encode generating an "empty" mkv file. The program proposal is great, but I see a point of opportunity for it to be further refined to deliver the proposal more efficiently. I hope the development will continue, because the program proposal is great, because, even with the notes I made, it is a free program whose proposal is important, since we need programs (mostly or exclusively paid), to do the same thing.

I wanted a programme that will strip audio out of files stored locally on my PC. This tool isn't it, as it doesn't demux or remux, or re-encode audio from files stored on your PC. No matter if they are avi or MKV or whatever, This programme is seemingly for *the ever decreasing number) of people who want to create/burn CD/DVDs, and no one else...
I uninstalled this programme faster than I installed it!
