Surprised at the mixed reviews on this media. I have been using it for more than a year and coasters are rare. Playback quality has been excellent with no pixelation. I have to assume that any issues are b/c of particular burners. I get great compatibility on all players, inc. the DVD player in my Honda Odyssey. I used the Lite-On book type program to change the book type to DVD-Rom and have never had an issue.

Very decent media with the correct support, as these are very burner-dependent. My Samsung 18x burner creates burns of excellent quality, while my Benq and LG burners don't fare as well. For the price this can be very inexpensive and reliable media.

Th disk I have is OK. It has a Nero DVD Speed quality score of 90. I have much better burns using Verbatim media.

More than 50% coaster rate. Media states burns at 8x, tried 8, 6, and 4x, all have given coasters a majority of the time. Reburned ISO images and come up with a good copy at a rate of about 1 out of 3, so there isn't a problem with my encoding, simply media issue.

This media was brunt in SONY's and NEC drives with differnts software, it turned out that it only burnt at a speed Max of 4x which is claimed 8x, overal is Ok (better be at that speed).If you look for world record time burning this one is not one of them.

This media makes coasters on my 16X MicroAdvantage (Dual Layer) but works great on this 8DVDRW-B13 drive. The firmware only lets me burn at 4X even though the drive is rated at 8X, but the burns are great.

TERRIBLE! 9 out of 10 disks burned FAILED disk writing data verification. The one disk that burned without a verify error, could NOT be read on any other DVD reader (except for the one it was burnt).
