Things have been made much easier now for you as the user: Audials always automatically uses the ideal format settings depending on the service and output format.

On Audials 2021, it is much easier to choose which format to save your tracks in. You can either use standard formats like MP3, AAC and WMA or high-resolution audio formats like FLAC and WAV.
This means that services such as Tidal, Amazon and Deezer, which stream in lossless quality, are automatically saved in top quality, while music from other sources is saved in a standard format.

A particularly useful improvement is that Audials now knows the optimal bit rate for all output formats for all important streaming services. If you, for example, type in "Amazon quality "high" in MP3", Audials will generate a 320kbit/s MP3. However, if you switch to M4A, you will instead receive 256kbit/s M4A, as Audials knows that this is more efficient in terms of coding.

In Gen 12, Audials is introducing the so-called title suffix. This additional tag serves to differentiate among recognized duplicates.

Audials now only selects the song in the best available quality to display. The additional duplicates are kept in the background. This ensures that you’re able to keep your music collection sorted without losing anything.
Clean up

Audials 12 has a new mode that lumps together all the duplicates in your collection. This helps you get rid of all the duplicates in a single step and to clean up your collection with just a click.

In the brand new Audials 11 generation, we implemented even more suggestions by Audials users into the development of the new generation and worked closely with heavy users during an expanded test phase. And when the dust finally settled, everyone agreed: 11 is faster, more stable and easier to use than ever. Come and check out the new and improved!
Heavy users are convinced by the new innovations and modifications

The brand new Music Universe did especially well in tests among heavy users. Another innovation that received high praise was the improved search results for desired music tracks with more charts, as did the improved editing quality of the 'diamond' radio stations. Our heavy users were especially happy about the removal of post-tagging on Spotify recordings. Just record your favorite tracks from Spotify and all your files will be outfitted automatically with the right name and title. Post-tagging is now a thing of the past!
Furthermore, heavy users were thoroughly impressed with the video recording functionality for making recordings of Internet videos with copy protection movies from video-on-demand services. Many heavy users found the new playlist displays in combination with the new music management functions in the media center to be an added 'wow' factor.
