Complete Version history / Release notes / Changelog / What's New for cladDVD.NET
Updated cladDVD.NET to v3.5.7. 7. June. 2005
Only a trivial update, IFO file is also taken in PGC [AVI] mode, also in that mode, the file naming convention has changed, needed for other programs.
NEW VERSION 3.5.6 RELEASED
Audio information dialog display more accurate, now will display audio info for the actual selected PGC rather than the title set.
Various other little fixes and code changes
NEW VERSION 3.5.5 RELEASED
The FrameServe option is back due to requests from quite a few people, double-clicking the selected PGC will bring up the FrameServe dialog.
Amendments to the log file details, now contains more information on your selected ripping method and sucess.
cladDVD .NET will now spin up the DVD-ROM unit for a second or two before starting the rip.
The 'Region-Free' option in v3.5.0 may have been at fault, this is now fixed.
Various other little fixes and changes.
NEW VERSION 3.5.0 RELEASED
Quite a major bug was found in cladDVD .NET v3.4.5 and below which would make some dvd rips using the old 'File Mode' useless. Some very small files would not be ripped correctly due to vstrip not being able to decuce the decryption key because the file size was too small. If you tried loading the rip into Nero's Recode 2 and instantly got a error where it would normally start scanning through the dvd then this was most certainly the rippers fault.
The above problem should now be fixed in this new version 3.5.0
The end of year expiry of cladDVD .NET has now also been removed.
Log file creation in users My Documents has been removed, for reference the log file is still created in the program folder of cladDVD .NET, I just took it out of My Documents as it seems quite trendy at the moment for programs to keep putting everything in your documents folder and it's starting to slightly drive me mad :-)
As Video CD is now not supported on this site all options in helping make Video CD's have been removed from cladDVD .NET making it much more simple to use and understand.
Various other little fixes and cosmetic changes.
