How to use PgcEdit’s Remapping and Restoring Functions

PgcEdit version 8.0 sees the completion of its very advanced DVD remapping and restoring tools. You can remap (reorder): * PGCs (new in 8.0) * TTNs within a VTS (new in 8.0) * Titlesets on the DVD * Title numbers * VOB-Cell IDs You can also remove uncalled (unreferenced) PGCs while preserving the structure and navigation of the DVD. And PgcEdit now enables you easily to restore backups, irrespective of how much you have edited your DVD, whilst preserving structure.

How to use PgcEdit’s new Jump to PGC Upon DVD Insert Macro

This method allows you to jump to any menu or title on insertion of your DVD, setting the audio and subtitle streams of your choice and by-passing anything in your way (e.g. annoying FBI warnings, studio promos and Dolby Digital trailers) and having all the DVDs internal registers set exactly as they would be if the commands followed the original path.

How to burn ISO images using PgcEdit ensuring 32k gaps between IFOs and BUPs

This guide explains how to use PgcEdit to ensure mimimum spacing of 32k between the end of the IFO and the start of the BUP. Without this spacing, a single CRC error that would normally only affect one of the two files will affect both, rendering both files useless and the DVD to stop playing. PgcEdit also features an integrated buring module, which this guide shows how to set up and use.
