Bit of a mixed story, these discs...
Tested on LG GSA 4163B with firmware A105, BenQ 1640 with firmware BSLB, and BenQ 1640 with firmware BSMB.
The LG burned at 8x, but failed at the last stage, reporting a PMA error. The PC would play the discs, but a stand alone DVD player would not.
The BenQs will write to the discs, but only at 4x. Scanning the discs with Nero CD-DVD speed revelas that firmware BSLB produces some incredibly burns - very low PIE anf PIF errors, with quality scores consistently at 98 and 99, with total PIFs of well under 500.
Probably would not use again, despite the very high quality scans. 200 discs to be writen at 4x is too slow!

Same here, only burnt 4X, get coasters when burnt at 8X. What the heck is Ritek doing with these?? What a disappointment, although, still better than lots of other no-brand discs. I'll stick with 4X, since I still have at least 90 of them to go!!!

First five discs were written at 8x. The write succeeded, but the results were coasters, as one or more files (each file was on the order of 700MB) could not be completely read.
All writes at 4X so far (about 10) have succeeded, with no problems reading the entire disc.

Works Perfectly on everything I throw at it. Does not work on Apex 1110W. but that is a limitation of the DVD player. Plays perfect on a Pioneer dv-444 all the way thru no skips/freezes. Works GREAT will for sure buy again.
