I was skeptical about Verbatim Disks only because I've never bought them before and I thought they were inexpensive disks compared to other brands.
It burned at 2.4x without a hitch on my Sony DW-U10A drive that I flashed into a DRU500A and upgraded the firmware to 2.0f.

This is my first experience with my new OptoRite DD0203. I bought this media at MicroCenter for $4.99 and did my first DVD back up. Everything was pretty smooth, this media worked fine for my friend's standalone DVD player, but I don't remember its model. Will update this info later.

These discs are made in Taiwan. I could only get 1 out of 5 discs to burn beyond 3%. I had no trouble at all with the Verbatim DVD+RW made in Singapore (media code mcc a01)
