Bought a three pack of these on Wal-Mart's clearance rack. I see why they are on clearance. Tried burning with Toast at 1X and toast balked before it even started to burn. I went ahead and tried the same disk again and this time it burned about half of the data and gave me the same error.
Nice coasters Memorex. Go back to making cassette tapes, please.

Pack of 3 from buy.com last summer. The first two became very pixilated at approximately the second half of the disc. The DVD player lost tracking shortly after and began spinning the disc wildly. I swear it would have broke itself had I not cut the power. Other media worked perfectly vs two failures in a row for this one.
As for the third one, that went in the garbage.
Also, it only burned at 1x with my DVR-A04 (1.32). Stay the hell away from this media.

i bought a 10pack of these discs, 5 were bad. if you put the disc up to your ear and flex the center hole just a little bit, you can hear a creeking sound.. that means the 2 layers (recording/protective) were not properly bonded and will ensure a bad burn or bad playback.. stay away from these discs, they're pretty horrible.

This media may be fine for data storage, but I must say that THIS MEDIA WILL RUINS SOME DVD PLAYERS LASERS INCLUDING THE PLAYSTATION 2 AND THE PANASONIC DVD-C220. DON'T RISK IT. In addition to back-up games not working (FFX, GTA:VC) my laser was dammaged and needed to be replaced. I tried playing a back-up copy of my Golden-Eye dvd on my Panasonic dvd player and it game me the message "DIRTY DISK". I'VE USED OTHER MEDIA WITH NO PROBLEM. After that incident my dvd player made grinding noises at me and recognized no media. This media is also the only dvd-r that I've ever burned a coaster with. Don't waste your time. If you want me to validate this further e-mail me at MLwarrior@aol.com.

Media appears smoky/foggy when burned on DVR-105. Won't even read on the drive. See photos comparing it to TDK (which is the only other brand I've tried).
