Using my HP DVD 200i, it doesn't accept the media (firmware used is 1.36 and 1.51). Neither Nero 5.10.28 nor Instant CD/DVD 6.5 works. It returns the media code and that's it.

Tried burning with RecordNow and works perfectly. Strange, since the DVD+RW worked perfectly (with book-type set to DVD+RW, doesn't work when set to DVD-ROM).

I bought these Maxell DVD+R in Staples store in 5-pack with jewel cases for $2 (after $5 mail-in rebate for a 5-pack). I recorder in SP, LP, EP mode on Philips DVDR985 stand alone recorder, and they are great. They play in all my DVD Players with no problem.
