I paid .89 cents with free shipping per package. 3cents per disk use a stand alone DVD recorder Recorded about 15 disks so far with no issues. played the disks in 4 or 5 dlfferent computer dvd and blu-ray players with no issues

Made two failed attempts to record this media on the Sanyo DRW-500. Package states that the user is "requested to update your firmware that supports the new 8x media." I spoke to a customer service rep at Sanyo who informed me that he was not aware of any intention on the part of Sanyo to develop updated firmware for the DRW-500 that would permit the use of 8x media.

Media seems to work well at 8x though burns slower than virbatum 8x. I have had one problem trying to burn to multi-recordes with this media. I never had the problem with any other media.

From Fry's on 8/5/05 for $19.99/50pk in cakebox. Burns at 8x as advertised, from hard drive to my Khypermedia DVD+R/RW DX082D [Firmware 11SB] and at 4x as direct copy from my HP DVD 300n. Plays back fine on my Philips DVP 642 and my JVC XV-N310BK. So far so good, but quite a different story from the three previous comments!
