Bought a pack of 25 of these from fry's for $22.50 Dec '03 (.90 each) Burns at 1X. Purplish dye on burn surface.
The top of these are blank.
About 65 min to burn 4GB of data @ 1X.
About the same @ 1X to backup 4.7GB movie.

Bought a pack of 5 of these from fry's for $10. Interesting enough, the pack is labeled DVD-R and on the plasic wrapper but on each disc they're mislabled two places "DVD+R". They work fine, but could be confusing.
Only burns at 1X.
Purplish dye on burn surface.
There is almost no place to write on the disc except for a slim area of about .5 X 1 inch (h x w).
59 min to burn @ 1X for 4.7GB movie backup.

Bought 100 pack Accu from Meritline.com. After tested it, I figured out its same as the ones I bought from Frys, but I only spent half this time, burned 22 of them with my panasonic E20 , no coasters, and play them with my Apex Dvd player, works perfectly Highly recommend to anyone

Have some smear, etc. Burns fine for Data. However,when burned DVD is played on DVD player, it will have momentary halt over few places. The media probably don't allow faster speed to read information. (sub-par quality is my guess)
