Every movie appears to burn fine, but during disc verification, Nero almost always returns errors on one file. At the point of the error, on playback in DVD player, there are large blocks and chunks on the screen and sound is horrible. Minor skipping may occur. Junk. I've learned my lesson, you get what you pay for. I did the same burn with Memorex 4x +R and had no errors.

At $1.99 a 2 pack, I couldn't resist trying them out....Ripped a a bacl up of one of my DVD's and it worked great in My Sony DVP-NS725P, I burned it using the Digital Research DDVDRW4 4x Dual format drive.
If the other rips fine.... This will be my media of choice...Even if I get a coaster or 2.

I bought 30 (10 packs at $9.99 each) About 8 of them were coasters. They failed at 50-70% "data now corrupted" level while writing. I am using a brand new Sony Viao - I do not know the model number. TDK, Memorex, Fuji worked 100% of the time.

I debated on buying these blanks when I got my new burner but decided on starting off with a name brand (Fuji) instead which works fine. My brother gave me the remainder of a 10-pak that didn't work with his Pioneer drive. Went out and brought four 10-paks at 10 US dollars a piece. Went through 2 paks with 5 coasters (4 by my own fault by forgetting to turn off A/V, firewall and Spy Sweeper, 1 by a bad burn) using several tool combo. At a buck a piece it was a price I couldn't refuse.

Compatibility definitely depends on the burner. I burned roughly 8 Xbox games in a row, all succesfully on the NEC 4x dual format drive.
Then I tried the same media on my new Optorite and got 4 coasters in a row. Tried both Nero 6 and DiscJuggler, no luck. The burns are reported as succesfull, but the discs cannot be read by my Xbox. Just to make sure it's not the burner's fault, I tried a Taiyo Yuden DVD+R, and it burned fine at 4x.

I got these when they were on sale and burned 19 of 20. The one that didn't work was an error between the keyboard and the chair. Meaning the operator made the mistake.
