To change the region code of this DVD player you do the following: (the same hack for Zenith DVB312) Insert the "wrong disc". A warning saying "check region code" appears. Press Display. Press the Right Arrow on the remote control. Then press the left arrow on the remote. Press play (from the remote). Press play again (remote) and the movie will play!!! There are some discs that will not play using this "codes". For those discs do the following: Insert the "wrong disc". Press Display. Press Pause. Press 3-1-4-1-5-9-0. Press play. Press Menu. Note: I took these hack codes from this website for model Zenith DVB312. I tried them on my Zenith DVT312 and realized they worked for this model too. I returned from US today (I'm from Brazil) and I brought a Zenith DVT312 with me. I tried some hacks to zeroed the region, but the only one that worked was a cd hack, similar to lg5000.zip, but smaller, that a got in this site: http:/ /www.math.uga.edu/~djb. It really works. I just burned a CD (the file contains image discs for PC and Mac) in my Mac, and put it into the DVD player. Then I set area code (to 0) and pressed pause. Opened and closed the DVD, and it was done. It works!!!! YES!!! | |||
