VCD Hack Similar to other zenith players except a different code at step 5. 1. Power on the player with no disk in the drive 2. Press "PAUSE" on the remote 3. Enter "1472" on the remote 4. Press the UP arrow three times. Should show "04 ##" (Write down the two digits in ## in case this doesn't work) 5. Press "PROGRAM", "5", "PROGRAM", "5" (04 EE should now be displayed) 6. Press "ENTER" (display should flash briefly) 7. Press "RETURN" 8. Power the player off and then back on 9. Play a VCD! To undo repeat the above steps except in step 5 type in the ## you recorded from before. 1 to 9 can be typed in with the regular numbers A to F are PROGRAM 1 through PROGRAM 6 | |||

VCD Hack I used this VCD Hack on a Zenith DVD2251C using both 65 and 55 codes, with no problem or differences noticed. Note that the DVD 2251C does not play widescreen VCD, the screen and audio both stutter. However it can play regular 4/3 aspect VCD format. Hack used: 1.
