Macrovision(VCR Friendly) disables the copy protection. This will allow you to play your DVD's through your VCR without the distored video due to the macrovision. It would also allow you to copy your DVD to tape without probems. So you could test it by trying to copy a DVD to tape and playing it back. If it is clear without the color distortion, then the macrovision is off, if it looks bad, then it is still on. | |||
