	Hack is the same as other Yamaha player. 1. Open tray 2. Type 9,9,9,9,0 3. Hit enter (the screen will show region 0) 3. Close tray Test with Pal dvds. Works great.

	John Doe's notes are correct. And PAL discs play virtually perfectly; video looks crisp (I'm using 720p upconvert and HDMI), and the frame rate is extremely smooth for what it does. I was happily surprised. (Naturally, "you get what you pay for" is a most apposite remark.)
