This portable player has the region-free code set by some retailers. If yours hasn't been tweaked yet, here's how to do it. All actions are accomplished through the remote control, and assume there is no disc in the player. 1) Press "Setup". 2) Press the right arrow key until you reach the "Preferences" page. 3) Press the numbers 1-3-7-9-8-8. 4) The "Preferences" page is replaced by a "Region Code: x" dialog, where x is the currently set region. 5) Use the up or down arrow to select "Region Code: 0", then press "Enter". 6) Exit the setup menu.
