This hack works for both the 1010 and 1100 series. It's similar to the old 900 and 1000 series hacks, only shorter. Make sure no disk is in the player. Turn it on. When the main screen comes up, press SETUP to go into the main menu. Select PREFERENCES. In rapid succession, press STEP, F.FWD, AND F.BWD. This should take you right to the hidden menu. Highlight REG. CODE, it should read "0". Highlight it and press ENTER/PLAY. The player should now be region-free. I'm not sure what the other functions on the hidden menu are, I haven't tried them out yet. | |||
