Turn the unit on, at the splash screen, open the dvd tray. For region free, press 0086000, then the "select" key. Notes: Press the keys quicky, even a seemingly short delay between key presses will interrupt the input. The last ditit in the code represents the region. I.e. 0086001 + "select" will change the player to region 1. But I don't know why you would bother. Region 0 will play all discs including RCE protected. When entering the code make sure you are on the splash screen, the code will not input if you are in tuner mode. Hackers - there are two unused button spaces on the remote. Unlike other players, they don't do anything, so don't cut holes in your remote. | |||
