The player is the same as Grundig GDV620, Goodmans 3500 and so on - here is the trick: Turn the machine on and open up the DVD tray. Using the remote control press 9817 (alt. 3838?), and the magic menu appears. Change the region to whatever you want or set it to 9 which is multiregion - press the "ent" button until it matches your choise. You can also alter macrovision from this menu.
