TRT S898 comes region free, but if you encounter problems like "No Disc" even when there is a DVD in it, and no other options work and you cant read any dvd. You can try this to possibly reset the thing... It has worked for me many times... 1) Eject the DVD (Tray open/Out)but keep DVD in the tray 2) Power Down the unit 3) Press and Hold "PREV" button and Turn unit "ON" the tray should close with the DVD in it. Watch the display it should start to play, or wait about 4-6 seconds and release the "PREV" button... Should be able to play the dvd now... I had returned a player back to TRT for a new one and still got this error, must be a firmware problem or something like that... hope this helps you folks who think you have a dead DVD player..... | |||
