I saw this procedure on a mailing list (I don't know if it works). 1. TURN ON THE POWER AND REMOVE ANY DISCS, CLOSE DRAWER 2. WAIT FOR “ NO DISC “ TO APPEAR ON YOUR DVD PLAYER SCREEN 3. USING YOUR REMOTE CONTROL PRESS: REPEAT 567329 CONSECUTIVELY 4. THEN PRESS THE OPEN/CLOSE BUTTON ON YOUR DVD PLAYER 5. Turn Power off and on. 6. NOW TRY A DVD DISC FROM A DIFFERENT REGION To reset it to try again hold in stop and play button on the remote control for 5 seconds and then repeat steps 3 to 5. You could try other variations to this procedure. 1.Pause between 56732 and 9 (9 is the region code). 2.Just type the number without the Repeat button before it. 3.Just open the DVD tray and enter the numbers and then close tray, and then turn the power off and on. Remember to hold the stop and play buttons on the remote for 5 seconds to reset it before each try. Hopefully one of these procedures will work. (But sometimes these codes don't work at all especially on US models). | |||
