Tried a hack that was meant for a Toshiba home DVD (can't recall the model) and it worked! At least it works for region 1 & 2 DVDs (which is all that I was able to test). You do not need a disc installed. - Turn on the player and wait until it says "No disc". - Press "memory" on the remote (for mine, I had to select "shift" then "memory"). - Select the region number you want or 0 for all regions. - Press "play". - Turn off the player then turn it back on. The player should now be set to the region you selected or be region free. | |||

I tried this hack several times on my DVD player with no success. If someone has a firmware upgrade or a technique of changing my player into a region free player please e-mail it to me at supremedictator@yahoo.com | |||
