Download the following link - self extracting RAR file http://www.math.uga.edu/~djb/html/FreeZoneLG6053.exe Burn the .cue file using Nero or some other program. (Burn image) from pulldown menu! put the disc in your DVD player and a blue screen will appear, you can choose any region but choose region 0 for multiregion, if the link is dead you can request my e-mail address and I will e-mail you the working file. This has worked on my Toshiba SD34-VB DVD/VCR combo. | |||

Hi, After a lot of searching for a Region Free hack for my Toshiba SD-34VB DVD\VCR combi I found the following link; http://aiwaownersnetwork.tripod.com/pages/lg/5000_series_firmware.html which contains a link to a file lg5000.zip. I downloaded this and followed the readme instructions in the zip (Burn a file to a CDR and put it in the player) and it has worked fine. Dunno how it all works (Aiwa>LG>Toshiba) but it does!
