You must be under or on official firmware 2.5 to apply the hack. First for those of you under 2.5 download the official 2.5 here: http://www.mininova.org/tor/1051994 after that download the 2.51 region free hack here: http://www.mininova.org/tor/1049649 once finished burn the isos on CD-R with ISO burner (nero writes errors with this isos) http://www.ntfs.com/downloads/Iso-burner.zip When all the work is done you're XE1 is region free for SD DVDs. Some RCE protected DVDs still won't work like movies from FOX. You can still update to 2.7 via ethernet to get the audio bitstream funczion the player stays region free. | |||
