The only way I know for now is to contact the person that started the following thread to get the region free firmware for the EP30: http://www.avforums.com/forums/hd-dvd-players/861 ... mware.html You update your unit using two different firmware CDs which rollback your player's firmware to v1.3. After the procedure is complete, you can safely update your player back to v4.0 and it will still be region-free... | |||
