This works for me for the Toshiba D-KR10KU (from Costco), BUT IT'S NOT PERMANENT so if you haven't yet modified your player, I don't recommend it unless you are desperate. I haven't figured out how long it stays. I have had the player off for an hour and it still retains the memory, but after 4 days off it will no longer load ANY DVDs until I re-do the procedure below. I regret that I ever modified my Toshiba. Entering a 9 at the end of the number string did not help or hurt: it was still a temporary fix. 1. Open the disc tray. 2. Type in 2403960. 3. Press ENTER. 4. Turn the player off. | |||
