Tevion 5000 (Aldi Germany) I press setup and saw it's a menu like SEG 430 My boyfriend has the "SEG 430" and so I test the 2812 Code on this Tevion player: Wow, it works!!! open the "very slim" tray press 2812 it appears an OSD and you can: select the "Region code" 1-6 or 9 for zero (tested - works like SEG 430) you can disable macrovision copy protection (tested - does NOT work!!!) you can disable VCD playback - tested - if you enabled this funktion you can playback VCDs like 1.1 or 2.0 You can enable "DIVX registration" - not tested after enable this in the main menu/parental you can see the unique player registration code for "DiVX on demand" Infos see on "www.divx.com/vod" Note: The macrovision chip is always enabled - even if you select "disable macrovision" in the menu! | |||

I have an Aldi SEG 430. This hack definately works for this model. All you have to do is to:- 1. Open the DVD tray. 2. With your remote press the buttons 2812. 3. A number will appear in a blue border. 4. Press the play button and it will go up through all the region codes until it begins at the number it was originally set. 5. When you find your number just press the "Setup" button on your remote. 6. Close the DVD tray and switch the power off and on again. Now you can watch those foreign DVDs! *Please note. Pressing the "Setup" button when the DVD tray is open and then making changes to the DVD through that setup interface does not work! | |||
