Note: The region hack supplied above (by Billy Lo) is incorrect. Here is the right region hack as well as a macrovision hack for your Technosonic DVD-204. -Make sure no disk is in the drive. -Press setup on your remote. -Press next, prev, next, prev. - Ver 1 will appear in the top right hand corner of your TV screen. -Press the left arrow key and change it to Ver 255 (not 225 as mentioned above). -Your player is now region-free! -While still on the same screen (with Ver 255 still showing), press the up arrow key until you see Ver 3001. -Press the left arrow key until it changes to Ver 3000. -Press the up arrow key again until you see Ver 4001. -Press the left arrow key until changes to Ver 4000. -Press setup again to exit. -Congratulations! Your player is now macrovision free! Enjoy! | |||
