CDRW & VCD hack I purchased this DVD player and used the hack above to change the region, but mine was region 1, and the other numbers were different, so I don't know if this hack will work on any model. My DVD wasn't recongnizing CDRWs and almost no VCD, so I decided to try to hack myself and after just a few tries I made it: Enter the service mode using the instructions from the first post and use the Up/Down keys until it displays the these lines: 00 - XX* and change it to 50 (this will enable the CDRWs) and 13 - XX* and change it to 21 (this will make it read VCDs) *The original numbers in my player were 00 - 55 and 13 - 22. | |||
