This worked on my Model Targa DPV-5500x. Most likly it's the same for the 5300x. I used the same hack as for the LG V192H (posted by abecker, May 10 2009), which goes as follows: 1. Create a non-empty file called LG36868.IMG (for example using a text editor, then change the name to LG36868.IMG ) 2. Then You have to burn the LG36868.IMG file to a blank CD. 3. Insert the CD in your DVD Player after finish burning the CD. Press Play. 4. Then the region management menu will be shown. 5. If you input '0' and press 'pause key' by Remote Control, you will have a region-free DVD player! Good Luck! | |||
