With my 8208 and the hack above, I had to have no disc in the tray and the tray open. I then entered the code, got out of the Setup Menu and turned the player off. The "locked" my changes into place so to speak. I turned the player back on and everything performed as it should. Before; just entering the code, everything would appear to be changed but nothing would actually happen. For example, setting macrovision OFF would not work even though it showed it was off. Only after performing the steps above was I completely successful. | |||

this hack is for sungale dvd2028, use the remote at all times. turn on the dvd player. open tray. type 8888 with remote and then press 0/10 (all regions) and there should be a 9 showing up on the screen. and you are done, it should play all dvd´s now, worked fine on mine!!!!! | |||
