I have not found any sucessfull hack reports for this player yet; I hope that DVP-series hack (using winsamp or programmable remote to rewrite flash RAM) will work. The machine I bought was in Australia and came straight out of the box with a label in the back indicating that it's Region 4 only! A short time ago, a friend of mine sent me a DVD from the UK (Region 2) and it refused to play it: the display saying "Illegal Disk". So it is not an all-Regions machine that's come out of the box! Surely, someone somewhere must have the answer.... | |||
